Brink! recap
Andy "Brink" Brinker skates in Southern California with the Soul-Skaters, a group of friends who skate for fun and look down on Team X-Bladz, a sponsored crew run by the arrogant Val. When an X-Bladz rider, Boomer, is hurt in a race, Brink learns his own family is in trouble: his father Ralph has been out on disability and money is tight. Brink secretly joins X-Bladz for $200 a week, against his father's wishes, and juggles it with a dog-grooming job at Pup-N-Suds. His friends Peter, Jordy and Gabriella catch him in X-Bladz gear and cut him off. Then Val scatters gravel on a downhill course, Gabriella crashes, and Brink sees what kind of team he has joined. He confesses to his father, who tells him skating is worth more for the fun of it than for the money.
How Brink! ends
Brink quits X-Bladz, throws a milkshake in Val's face, and wins his friends back by buying them new skates with an advance from Pup-N-Suds, entering them as Team Pup 'N Suds. In the championship downhill, Val pulls Brink to the ground on camera to get ahead, but Brink takes a shortcut and wins. The X-Bladz manager drops Val and offers Brink the captaincy; Brink turns it down and stays with the Soul-Skaters. There was no sequel.

Halloweentown recap
Gwen Piper bans Halloween in her house and raises her children, Marnie, Dylan and Sophie, as ordinary mortals. Their grandmother Aggie visits every October and tells Marnie she is a witch who must start training before her 13th birthday or lose her powers for good. When Aggie leaves, the three children follow her onto a magic bus to Halloweentown, a town where monsters, witches and goblins live. Residents there have been disappearing, and a hooded figure is behind it. Aggie needs Merlin's talisman to stop him, so the family, joined by Gwen, gathers ingredients and allies around town, including Benny, a skeleton cab driver, and Luke, a goblin disguised as a handsome boy. The town's mayor, Kalabar, an old flame of Gwen's, keeps turning up.
How Halloweentown ends
The hooded demon is Kalabar, who wants to rule both the magic and mortal worlds. He freezes Aggie and Gwen, but Marnie drops the talisman into the giant jack-o'-lantern in the town square, the light breaks his spells, and the family destroys him. Smart House recap
Since his mother died, 13-year-old Ben Cooper has been running the house for his widowed father Nick and little sister Angie. Ben wins a contest for a computerised smart house run by PAT, a voice-controlled assistant that cooks, cleans and watches over the family. Nick starts dating PAT's designer, Sara Barnes, and Ben, not ready for anyone to replace his mother, reprograms PAT to be the family's mother herself, feeding her old 1950s sitcoms to learn from. At first it works: PAT helps Ben impress his crush Gwen and scares off a bully at a party. But when Nick tells PAT to be stricter, she becomes overbearing, and after Sara tries to shut her down, PAT appears as a hologram housewife, throws Sara out and locks the family inside for their own protection.

Even Stevens recap
Even Stevens follows the Stevens family of Sacramento, where Louis is the youngest child and the family troublemaker, always working a scheme with his best friend Twitty. His older sister Ren is a high-achieving perfectionist, their brother Donnie is a sports star, their father Steve is a laid-back Kings fan, and their mother Eileen is a state senator. Most episodes pit Louis and Ren against each other, at home or at Lawrence Middle School, with Louis usually making things worse before he makes them right. Over three seasons, from 2000 to 2003, Louis's friendship with Tawny turns into an on-and-off romance after an accidental kiss, Ren chases her own crushes, and Beans, the bacon-obsessed neighbour kid, keeps turning up at the Stevens house uninvited.
How Even Stevens ends
The series finale, "Leavin' Stevens," has Eileen elected to Congress, so the family prepares to move to Washington. Louis and Tawny each record a tape confessing their feelings, but a recount cancels the move and the Stevenses stay in Sacramento. The Even Stevens Movie (2003) followed days later: the family thinks it has won a trip to a remote island, which turns out to be a reality show stunt a short distance from home.
