The story
At home and school, she's Miley Stewart, a typical teenager, but when the lights go down and the curtain goes up, she emerges as the glamorous and talented Hannah Montana. Having the "Best of Both Worlds" is a complicated proposition, and keeping her identity under wraps leads Miley and her friends into some hilarious capers as she tries to balance her normal life with her rock star persona.
Hannah Montana recap
Miley Stewart is a Malibu teenager with a secret: under a blonde wig she is the pop star Hannah Montana, managed by her father Robby Ray, so she can have a normal life at school. Her best friend Lilly learns the secret in the first episode and gets her own disguise, Lola, and their friend Oliver finds out soon after. Her older brother Jackson works at a beach snack shack for the young tyrant Rico. Early seasons are about keeping the two lives apart; Miley dates the teen actor Jake Ryan, who learns her secret in season 2, and Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) sends her back to Tennessee to remember her roots. In season 3, Lilly and Oliver become a couple. In the fourth season, Hannah Montana Forever, the Stewarts move to a ranch, Miley falls for Jesse, and the secret becomes too much to carry.
Hannah Montana ending explained
Midway through the last season, in "I'll Always Remember You," Miley reveals she is Hannah on The Tonight Show and sings as herself. In the series finale, "Wherever I Go," she is offered a movie role in Paris and asks Lilly to come; at the airport Lilly chooses college instead. The show ends with Miley turning up at Lilly's dorm as her new roommate, followed by a montage of the series.
