The story
Sad and lonely after the death of her mother, Casey would do anything to see her again. But when a series of mystic mishaps mistakenly brings her fashion doll “Eve” to life instead, it changes Casey’s world forever!
Life-Size recap
Casey Stuart is a seventh-grade quarterback still grieving her mother, while her lawyer father Ben buries himself in work. She finds a book of spells and tries to bring her mother back, but the spell lands on an Eve doll instead, and Eve wakes up as a full-size woman, thrilled to be real. Casey has four days to undo it and has to wait for the second volume of the book to reach the store. In the meantime Eve, who only knows how to be the doll she was sold as, moves in, saves Casey from a truck, and takes a temp job at Ben's firm, where she charms everyone and Ben starts to fall for her. Casey resents it, but Eve slowly helps her with her grief and confidence, and the two become friends.
Life-Size ending explained
Casey decides not to buy the second volume, but Eve, worried about her doll line and missing her own life, buys it herself. She says goodbye at Casey's championship game, goes to the toy company's headquarters and turns back into a doll. Casey reconnects with her friends and her father, and the film closes with the cast dancing to Eve's theme song. Tyra Banks returned in Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve on Freeform in 2018.
