Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century recap
In 2049, 13-year-old Zenon Kar lives with her parents, Mark and Astrid, on a space station orbiting Earth. After she gets into trouble with Commander Edward Plank, she is sent down to Earth to live with her Aunt Judy. On Earth her slang and space stories make her an outsider, but she makes friends with Andrew and Greg, and falls for Greg. Zenon then uncovers a plot by Parker Wyndham, a powerful figure on the station, to crash it with a computer virus and collect the insurance. Plank refuses to believe her, assuming she just wants to get home in time for a concert by her idol Proto Zoa and his band Microbe. Andrew writes an antivirus, and Zenon sneaks onto a rocket, getting a ride with Proto Zoa himself, while Wyndham and his assistant Mr. Lutz follow.
Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century ending explained
Zenon loads Andrew's antivirus into the station's computers in time and saves the station. Wyndham and Lutz are arrested, Plank falls for Aunt Judy, and everyone goes to the Microbe concert, with Zenon back home on the station where she wanted to be. It was the first Disney Channel Original Movie to get a sequel: Zenon: The Zequel followed in 2001 and Zenon: Z3 in 2004.
