Spider-Man recap
Peter Parker, a shy science student in Queens raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, is bitten by a genetically altered spider on a school trip and wakes up with strength, wall-crawling, a danger sense and webs that shoot from his wrists. He wins money in a wrestling match, then lets a robber escape out of spite; the same robber kills Uncle Ben, and Peter learns that with great power comes great responsibility. He becomes Spider-Man and sells photos of himself to J. Jonah Jameson at the Daily Bugle. Meanwhile Norman Osborn, the father of Peter's best friend Harry, tests an unstable performance enhancer on himself and becomes the Green Goblin, a split personality who kills Oscorp's board. Peter is in love with his neighbour Mary Jane Watson, who dates Harry. The Goblin works out who Spider-Man is and attacks Aunt May.
How Spider-Man ends
The Goblin makes Spider-Man choose between saving Mary Jane and a cable car full of children, and with help from New Yorkers he saves both. In the fight that follows, Norman reveals himself and sends his glider at Spider-Man, who dodges; it impales Norman, who asks Peter not to tell Harry. Harry blames Spider-Man for his father's death. At Norman's funeral, Mary Jane tells Peter she loves him, and he turns her away to keep her safe.

Spider-Man 2 recap
Two years later, Peter is failing at everything: he loses his pizza delivery job, his grades slip, he can't pay rent, and he keeps missing Mary Jane's play. Harry, now running Oscorp, funds the fusion experiment of Dr. Otto Octavius, which goes wrong in a demonstration; it kills his wife and fuses four artificial-intelligence arms to his spine that talk him into rebuilding the reactor at any cost. Peter's powers start to fail under the stress, and he gives up being Spider-Man, while Mary Jane gets engaged to the astronaut John Jameson. Peter confesses to Aunt May that he was responsible for Ben's death. When Doc Ock kidnaps Mary Jane to force Peter's hand, Peter's powers return. Ock takes Spider-Man to Harry in exchange for tritium, and Harry unmasks him.

Spider-Man 3 recap
Peter is happy and about to propose to Mary Jane, while her Broadway career falls apart. A black alien substance arrives in a meteorite and follows Peter home. Flint Marko, an escaped convict, falls into a particle experiment and becomes the Sandman, and police tell Peter that Marko, not the man he caught, is the one who shot Uncle Ben. Harry attacks Peter as the New Goblin, loses his memory after a fall, and for a while they are friends again. The symbiote bonds to Peter's suit, turning it black and making him aggressive; he nearly kills Sandman and exposes the rival photographer Eddie Brock as a fraud. Harry regains his memory and forces Mary Jane to break up with Peter. Peter rips the symbiote off in a bell tower, and it falls onto Eddie, creating Venom.
How Spider-Man 3 ends
Venom and Sandman kidnap Mary Jane, and Harry, learning from his butler that Norman died by his own glider, joins Peter to fight them. Harry dies saving Peter from Venom. Peter separates Eddie from the symbiote with the clang of metal pipes, and Eddie dies trying to save it in a pumpkin bomb blast. Marko explains Ben's death was an accident, Peter forgives him and he drifts away. Peter and Mary Jane reconcile in a jazz club.

The Amazing Spider-Man recap
As a child, Peter Parker is left with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May when his scientist parents flee and die in a plane crash. As a teenager, he finds his father Richard's briefcase and tracks down Richard's old partner at Oscorp, Dr. Curt Connors, a one-armed scientist researching cross-species genetics. At Oscorp, Peter is bitten by a genetically altered spider. He gives Connors a missing equation, and after an argument, Uncle Ben is shot by a thief Peter let go. Peter hunts the killer in a mask, builds web-shooters and becomes Spider-Man, falls for his classmate Gwen Stacy and clashes with her father, police Captain George Stacy. Connors, under pressure from Oscorp, tests the serum on himself, regrows his arm and turns into the Lizard, who plans to turn all of New York into reptiles.
How The Amazing Spider-Man ends
Spider-Man stops the Lizard's release of the serum from Oscorp's tower with an antidote that Gwen made, and Connors returns to human form. Captain Stacy is killed by the Lizard and, dying, makes Peter promise to stay away from Gwen. Peter keeps the promise at first, then hints in class that he will break it.
Post-credits scenes
Yes. In a mid-credits scene, a man in the shadows visits Connors in his prison cell and asks if he told Peter the truth about his father; Connors says no and tells him to leave Peter alone. It sets up the mystery of Richard Parker in the sequel.
