Madame Web recap

In 1973, the pregnant scientist Constance Webb searches the Peruvian Amazon for a spider with healing powers, and her guard Ezekiel Sims shoots her and steals it. A local tribe has the spider bite her, but she dies giving birth to her daughter Cassie. Thirty years later, Cassie is a New York paramedic working with Ben Parker. After nearly drowning, she starts seeing the future. Ezekiel, who has spider powers and his own visions, sees three teenage girls, Julia Cornwall, Anya Corazon and Mattie Franklin, kill him in the future, and sets out to kill them first. Cassie saves the girls and hides them. She travels to Peru, where the tribe's leader Santiago helps her see every possible future, and learns her mother wanted the spider to cure her. Ezekiel finds the girls again while Ben's sister-in-law Mary goes into labour.
