It Chapter Two recap
It Chapter Two (2019) brings the Losers Club back to Derry as adults in 2016, 27 years after they first fought Pennywise. Andy Muschietti directs, with Bill Skarsgard returning as the clown. Mike Hanlon (Isaiah Mustafa), the only one who stayed in Derry, calls the others when Pennywise kills again. Bill Denbrough (James McAvoy) is now a novelist, Beverly Marsh (Jessica Chastain) is married to an abusive man, Richie Tozier (Bill Hader) is a comedian, Eddie Kaspbrak (James Ransone) is a risk analyst, and Ben Hanscom (Jay Ryan) is a successful architect. Stan Uris (Andy Bean) kills himself rather than face It. The others have forgotten most of their childhood until they return. Mike has learned of the Ritual of Chud, a native rite to trap It, and each Loser must find a personal token from their past, reliving memories of the summer of 1989. Henry Bowers escapes from an asylum to kill them.
It Chapter Two ending explained
It Chapter Two ends with Pennywise dead and the Losers moving on. In the cavern beneath Neibolt Street the ritual fails. Eddie is impaled saving Richie, and the others shrink It by mocking it, then tear out and crush its heart. Eddie dies, and the house collapses on his body. Each friend reads a letter Stan sent before his death, Ben and Beverly are together, Bill writes again, and Richie recarves his and Eddie's initials on the Kissing Bridge.
