In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers Club come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.
It recap
It (2017) follows seven bullied kids in Derry, Maine, in the summer of 1989 as a shape-shifting clown preys on the town's children. Andy Muschietti directs Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise and Jaeden Lieberher as Bill Denbrough, whose little brother Georgie vanished down a storm drain the previous October. Bill refuses to accept that Georgie is dead. With Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard), Eddie Kaspbrak (Jack Dylan Grazer) and Stan Uris (Wyatt Oleff), and new friends Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor), Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis) and Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), he forms the Losers Club. Each of them is stalked by It in the shape of their worst fear, while the bully Henry Bowers (Nicholas Hamilton) torments them. Ben's research shows children disappear in Derry roughly every 27 years. A trip into the house on Neibolt Street ends with Eddie's arm broken and the group split. When Pennywise takes Beverly, the others go down the well into the sewers after her.
It ending explained
It ends with the Losers beating Pennywise and swearing a blood oath. In the cistern, Bill faces a false Georgie and shoots It, and together the friends beat Pennywise until it falls into the depths to hibernate. Beverly is freed from the deadlights, and Henry, who killed his father, falls down the well. The Losers cut their palms and promise to return if It ever comes back. Beverly kisses Bill before leaving town. The title card then reads "It Chapter One".
