Ms. Marvel recap

Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani American in Jersey City, writes Avengers fan fiction and wants to go to AvengerCon. A bangle that belonged to her great-grandmother gives her the power to make hard light constructs. Najma and her son Kamran, members of the Clandestines, beings from another dimension, the Noor, who were exiled to Earth, want the bangle to open the veil and go home. The Department of Damage Control hunts Kamala. On a trip to Karachi with her mother, Kamala learns about her family's past during the Partition in 1947 and that her great-grandmother Aisha was one of the Clandestines. Kamala travels back to the Partition, and Najma sacrifices herself to close the veil.

Ms. Marvel ending explained

Back in Jersey City, Damage Control hunts Kamran, and Kamala, her friends and the community protect him at the school and help him escape. Her father explains her name means "marvel", and she takes the name Ms. Marvel. Her friend Bruno tells her that her genes contain a mutation. In the final scene, the bangle glows and Kamala swaps places with Carol Danvers, leading into The Marvels.
