The story
A story about how a new baby's arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim.
The Boss Baby recap
Seven-year-old Tim Templeton has his parents to himself until a new baby arrives in a business suit with a briefcase. The baby talks, gives orders and works for Baby Corp, the company in heaven that produces babies. Ted, the Boss Baby, is on a mission: puppies are taking babies' share of love, and Puppy Co., where Tim's parents work, is about to launch a new product. If he succeeds, he gets a promotion and leaves; if he fails, he must stay as an ordinary baby. Tim and Ted grudgingly team up and learn the Puppy Co. CEO, Francis Francis, is a former Baby Corp boss who aged out and wants revenge with the Forever Puppy, which will never grow up.
The Boss Baby ending explained
In Las Vegas, the brothers stop Francis and the Forever Puppy launch, and Ted earns his promotion and goes back to Baby Corp. Both brothers miss each other, and Tim writes to Ted, who chooses to come back and grow up as Tim's real little brother. The story is revealed as told by the grown-up Tim to his daughter as she prepares for a new sister.
Post-credits scenes
