Mr. Peabody & Sherman recap

Mr. Peabody is a genius dog who has adopted a human boy, Sherman, and taught him history using the WABAC time machine. On Sherman's first day at school, Penny Peterson mocks him as a dog, Sherman bites her, and the social worker Ms. Grunion threatens to take Sherman away. Peabody hosts a dinner for Penny's parents to smooth things over, and Sherman shows Penny the WABAC. They visit Marie Antoinette's France, Leonardo da Vinci's Florence, and the Trojan War, where Penny sets her heart on marrying King Tut and Sherman fights alongside Agamemnon. Sherman and Penny end up in the present at the same time as their past selves, which tears a hole in time and pulls historical figures into New York.
