The story
The tale of an ordinary garden snail who dreams of winning the Indy 500.
Turbo recap
Theo is a garden snail obsessed with racing and with the Indy 500 champion Guy Gagne, while his cautious brother Chet tells him to accept being slow. Theo is sucked into a street racer's nitrous oxide, which gives him incredible speed and car-like features. He renames himself Turbo. He and Chet are picked up by Tito, who runs a struggling taco truck, Dos Bros Tacos, and races snails with a crew of other snails led by Whiplash. Tito uses Turbo's speed to draw customers, and a viral video lands Turbo a place in the Indianapolis 500. Turbo meets Gagne, who is friendly in public and resentful in private. Turbo leads the race until Gagne makes a dirty move.
Turbo ending explained
Turbo's shell is cracked and his powers fade near the finish, and Gagne crashes trying to block him. Turbo tucks into his shell and rolls over the line to win. His speed later comes back, the taco plaza thrives, and Turbo and the snail crew race in a new track built for them.
Post-credits scenes
During the credits, the snail who could not tuck finally gets into his shell and then cannot get out. There is no post-credits scene.
