Finding Nemo is #5 of 31 in release order and #23 of 31 in chronological order in the Pixar.

The story

Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken from his Great Barrier Reef home to a dentist's office aquarium. It's up to his worrisome father Marlin and a friendly but forgetful fish Dory to bring Nemo home -- meeting vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, hungry seagulls, and more along the way.

Finding Nemo recap

A barracuda kills the clownfish Marlin's wife and all but one of their eggs, and Marlin raises the surviving son, Nemo, born with a small fin, with constant worry. On Nemo's first day of school, Nemo swims out to touch a boat to defy his father and is captured by a diver. Marlin sets out to find him and teams up with Dory, a blue tang with short-term memory loss. They survive a group of sharks trying to give up eating fish, an anglerfish in the deep, and a forest of jellyfish, ride the East Australian Current with sea turtles, and are swallowed by a whale. Nemo lands in a dentist's aquarium in Sydney, where the Tank Gang, led by Gill, plans to escape before Nemo is given to the dentist's niece Darla, who kills her pets.

Finding Nemo ending explained

The pelican Nigel carries Marlin and Dory to the dentist's office, and Nemo plays dead and gets flushed down a drain to the sea. Father and son reunite, and when Dory is caught in a fishing net, Nemo leads the fish to swim down and break it. Back at the reef, Marlin lets Nemo go to school. The Tank Gang escape the office, still in their plastic bags, and float in the harbor.

Post-credits scenes

During the credits, sea creatures swim across the screen with small gags, including a cameo from Mike Wazowski in scuba gear. There is no scene after the credits.
