Avengers: Age of Ultron recap

The Avengers raid a Hydra base in Sokovia and recover Loki's scepter, meeting two enhanced twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff. Wanda plants a vision in Tony's head of his friends dead. Tony and Bruce Banner find an artificial mind inside the scepter's gem and try to use it for a global defense program called Ultron, but Ultron wakes up, decides humanity is the threat and escapes into the internet. Recruiting the twins, who blame Tony for their parents' deaths, Ultron gets vibranium from arms dealer Ulysses Klaue. Wanda gives the team terrifying visions, and the Hulk rampages through Johannesburg until Tony stops him in a giant suit. The team hides at Clint Barton's secret family farm. They steal a new body Ultron was building, and Tony and Banner upload the JARVIS program into it; Thor powers it with lightning, and Vision is born, carrying the Mind Stone.

Avengers: Age of Ultron ending explained

Ultron lifts the city of Sokovia into the sky to drop it like a meteor. The Avengers and the twins, now on their side, evacuate the people with help from Fury's helicarrier; Pietro dies saving Barton, and Wanda tears out Ultron's core. Tony and Thor blow up the city before it falls, and Vision destroys Ultron's last body. The Hulk flies off alone. Tony and Barton retire, Thor leaves to look into the Infinity Stones, and Steve and Natasha train a new team: Rhodes, Sam, Wanda and Vision.
