Ant-Man recap

Scott Lang, a burglar just out of prison, wants to be part of his daughter Cassie's life but cannot keep a job. Hank Pym, a scientist who once worked as the shrunken hero Ant-Man for S.H.I.E.L.D., has been pushed out of his company by his former protege Darren Cross, who is close to recreating Hank's shrinking formula for a weapon called the Yellowjacket. Hank lures Scott into stealing his old suit, then recruits him to steal the Yellowjacket instead, while Hank's daughter Hope van Dyne, angry that her father will not let her wear the suit, trains Scott to fight and control ants. Hank reveals that Hope's mother, Janet, vanished into the Quantum Realm while shrinking to stop a missile. Scott tests his skills by stealing a device from the Avengers' base and fights Sam Wilson.

Ant-Man ending explained

Scott and his friends sabotage Cross's company, but Cross takes the Yellowjacket suit and threatens Cassie. Scott shrinks past the safe limit to get inside Cross's suit and destroy it, killing Cross, and is lost in the Quantum Realm before finding his way back. His success gives Hank hope that Janet is alive.
