Never Say Never Again recap
Made outside the Eon series, this is a second version of Thunderball, with Sean Connery returning as an older Bond. After a failed training exercise, M sends Bond to a health clinic, where he sees the assassin Fatima Blush and her patient Jack Petachi, a US Air Force pilot whose eye has been altered to match the President's. Petachi uses his eye to swap dummy warheads for real ones in two cruise missiles, which SPECTRE steals. Blofeld demands a ransom, and his agent Maximilian Largo carries out the plan. Bond goes to the Bahamas and the south of France, beats Largo at a video game and seduces Largo's girlfriend Domino, Petachi's sister. Bond kills Fatima Blush with an exploding pen.
Never Say Never Again ending explained
Largo sells Domino into slavery in North Africa and Bond rescues her. With Felix Leiter, he follows Largo to the Tears of Allah, an underground cave where the last warhead is hidden, and fights him underwater. Domino kills Largo with a harpoon gun. Bond retires to the Bahamas with Domino, saying he will never work again, and winks.
