The story

Less than 24 hours into his parole, charismatic thief Danny Ocean is already rolling out his next plan: In one night, Danny's hand-picked crew of specialists will attempt to steal more than $150 million from three Las Vegas casinos. But to score the cash, Danny risks his chances of reconciling with ex-wife, Tess.

Ocean's Eleven recap

Danny Ocean, just paroled in New Jersey, plans to rob a vault under three Las Vegas casinos, the Bellagio, the Mirage and the MGM Grand, all owned by Terry Benedict, on the night of a boxing match, when it holds 160 million dollars. He recruits his partner Rusty Ryan and a team: the young pickpocket Linus, the explosives man Basher, the acrobat Yen, the electronics man Livingston, the drivers the Malloy brothers, the old con man Saul, and the backer Reuben, who hates Benedict. Rusty learns Danny's ex-wife Tess is Benedict's girlfriend, and suspects the job is about her. The team builds a replica vault, and steals an electromagnetic pinch to cut the power. On the night, Benedict catches Danny with Tess and has him locked in a back room, which is part of the plan.

Ocean's Eleven ending explained

During the fight, the crew calls in a fake SWAT team that empties the vault after Benedict watches it on a video feed that was pre-recorded. Benedict is forced to admit he cares more about money than Tess, who leaves him. Danny is arrested for parole violation, and months later Rusty and Tess pick him up from prison, with Benedict's men watching them.
