Halloween III: Season of the Witch recap

Michael Myers does not appear; this was meant as the start of an anthology. In northern California, a terrified man clutching a Halloween mask is brought into Dr. Dan Challis's hospital and is murdered there by a man in a suit, who then sets himself on fire. The victim's daughter Ellie and Challis follow his trail to Santa Mira, a company town owned by Silver Shamrock Novelties, whose three Halloween masks are being advertised nonstop on television. The town is run by Conal Cochran, the toymaker, and watched over by men in suits who turn out to be androids. Cochran captures Challis and shows him the plan: each mask contains a chip made from a stolen piece of Stonehenge.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch ending explained

When the Silver Shamrock advert plays at 9 p.m. on Halloween, the masks will kill their wearers, children all over America, as a mass sacrifice for the ancient festival of Samhain. Challis escapes, kills Cochran, and flees with Ellie, who turns out to be an android and attacks him. At a gas station, he phones the networks and gets two channels to pull the advert, but one keeps airing, and he screams at them to stop it. The film ends there.
