Resident Evil: Degeneration recap

In 2005, seven years after Raccoon City, a T-virus outbreak hits Harvardville Airport in the United States. Claire Redfield, now working for the aid group TerraSave, is trapped there with the senator Ron Davis and a girl named Rani. The government sends the agent Leon S. Kennedy, who teams up with the police officer Angela Miller to get them out. A terrorist threatens a wider attack, and vaccine trucks belonging to the drug company WilPharma are blown up. Claire goes to WilPharma's lab with its head scientist, Frederic Downing. Angela's brother Curtis is behind the terror campaign; his family died in Raccoon City and he wants the government's cover-up exposed. Curtis injects himself with the G-virus and mutates into a giant creature, and a bomb goes off at the lab.

Resident Evil: Degeneration ending explained

Leon shoots Curtis, who falls to his death, and Downing is arrested for selling the viruses and manipulating Curtis. Leon and Angela escape the lab as it burns. Downing turns out to be a former Umbrella researcher who stole the T and G viruses and planned to sell them. Davis resigns over a scandal and is later found dead, killed by the company Tricell, which takes G-virus samples from Curtis's body and moves to buy WilPharma. That sets up Resident Evil 5.
