Power Rangers Zeo recap
Power Rangers Zeo (1996) finds the team digging the Zeo Crystal out of the Command Center's ruins and taking on new powers against the Machine Empire. The fourth season aired 50 episodes on Fox Kids from April to November 1996, adapting Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, and it follows Alien Rangers directly. From a new underground Power Chamber, Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank) leads as Zeo Ranger V Red, with Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch), Rocky DeSantos (Steve Cardenas), Katherine Hillard (Catherine Sutherland) and the newcomer Tanya Sloan (Nakia Burrise), while Billy Cranston (David Yost) retires to work as their technician. King Mondo and Queen Machina drive Rita and Zedd out of the solar system. A mystery Gold Ranger turns out to be Trey of Triforia, and when he is injured his powers pass to the original Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott (Austin St. John). The Super Zeo Zords arrive, Mondo is destroyed and later rebuilt, and Billy leaves for Aquitar after he starts ageing rapidly.
Power Rangers Zeo ending explained
Power Rangers Zeo ends with Jason weakening as the Gold powers, never meant for a human, drain his life; in "Good as Gold" the Rangers return them to a healed Trey. Rita and Zedd, back from exile, take their revenge by crippling the Machine Empire's leaders with a bomb. The final episode, "A Season to Remember", is a holiday story told by an elderly Tommy to his grandchild. Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie comes next.
