The story
The Samurai Power Rangers continue their battle against the evil Master Xandred who has now joined forces with the malevolent Serrator. To fight this growing threat, the Samurai Rangers learn to use the legendary Black Box to form all new Megazord combinations and become Super Samurai. Through teamwork, they also learn to invoke the power of their ancestors to morph into Shogun Mode and protect humanity from the Netherworld's vile villains.

Power Rangers Super Samurai (2012) continues the Samurai story as the team unlocks Super Samurai Mode against Master Xandred. The Black Box, a weapon the first Red Ranger never finished, powers the upgrade, while the Nighlok Serrator schemes behind Xandred's back. The nineteenth season aired 22 episodes on Nickelodeon from February to December 2012, including Halloween and Christmas specials, and it follows Samurai directly. Jayden Shiba (Alex Heartman), Kevin (Najee De-Tiege), Mia Watanabe (Erika Fong), Mike (Hector David Jr.), Emily (Brittany Anne Pirtle) and Antonio Garcia (Steven Skyler) gain new Zords, including the Bullzord. Serrator plans to split the world open with a pattern of attacks, and Deker returns. The big twist is that Jayden is a decoy: his sister Lauren Shiba (Kimberley Crossman), the true head of the clan, has spent years learning the sealing symbol that can stop Xandred. She takes over as Red, and Jayden leaves to duel Deker one last time.
Power Rangers Super Samurai ending explained
Power Rangers Super Samurai ends with "Samurai Forever". Xandred absorbs Dayu, which makes him immune to Lauren's sealing symbol, so Lauren gives the Red role back to Jayden and pours her remaining power into one Shiba Fire disk. The six Rangers demorph and combine all their symbol power to destroy Xandred, and the Sanzu River drains back into the Netherworld. The team splits up, and Ji gives Jayden a guitar. Megaforce follows with a new team.
