The story
For centuries, the earth has been protected by a supernatural guardian named Gosei and his robotic aide, Tensou. When the evil Warstar aliens plan a massive invasion of Earth, Gosei calls upon five teenagers with talent and attitude to form the ultimate team…the Power Rangers Megaforce! Using their newfound special abilities, mega-weapons, high-tech Zords and giant Megazords to battle this new alien threat, the Power Rangers Megaforce prove that “Earth's defenders never surrender!” Go Go Megaforce!

Power Rangers Megaforce (2013) follows five high school students chosen by Gosei, a guardian placed on Earth by Zordon, to fight the Warstar aliens. The twentieth season aired 22 episodes on Nickelodeon from February to December 2013, adapting Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and it opened the franchise's 20th anniversary. Troy Burrows (Andrew Gray), a new kid who dreams of past Ranger teams in battle, leads Jake Holling (Azim Rizk), Gia Moran (Ciara Hanna), Noah Carver (John Mark Loudermilk) and Emma Goodall (Christina Masterson), with Gosei's robot Tensou running the Command Center. The Warstar forces of Admiral Malkor and the scheming Prince Vrak are joined by the Toxic Mutants, whose return awakens Robo Knight, an Earth-protecting machine who joins the team and slowly learns about being human. Vrak captures him to try to reprogram him, then brings in the robot strategist Metal Alice. The phrase "It's Morphin' Time" returns for the first time since Zeo. Super Megaforce continues with the same team.
Power Rangers Megaforce ending explained
Power Rangers Megaforce ends its main story with "End Game", in which the Rangers fight Metal Alice and a Vrak she has rebuilt as a cyborg, risking their powers to save the Earth. The previous episode has already warned that a far bigger invasion is on its way, carried by the robot Messenger. A Christmas special, "The Robo Knight Before Christmas", closes the year, and in 2014 the Armada arrives as Super Megaforce begins.
