Power Rangers Operation Overdrive recap
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive (2007) sends genetically enhanced adventurers around the world to find the five jewels of the Corona Aurora. The fifteenth season aired 32 episodes on Toon Disney's Jetix block from February to November 2007, adapting GoGo Sentai Boukenger, and it stands alone. Billionaire explorer Andrew Hartford (Rod Lousich) chooses his son Mack (James Maclurcan) as Red, with Will Aston (Samuell Benta), Dax Lo (Gareth Yuen), Ronny Robinson (Caitlin Murphy) and Rose Ortiz (Rhoda Montemayor). The jewels are also hunted by the feuding brothers Flurious and Moltor, the Fearcats, and Kamdor with his partner Miratrix. Tyzonn (Dwayne Cameron), an alien first turned into a monster, joins as the Mercury Ranger, and the Sentinel Knight acts as guardian of the crown. Mack learns he is an android his father built. For the franchise's 15th anniversary, "Once a Ranger" brings in veterans Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch), Tori, Kira, Bridge and Xander against Thrax, son of Rita and Zedd.
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive ending explained
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive ends with "Crown and Punishment". The fifth jewel turns out to be hidden in the Hartford mansion, and Flurious, having disposed of his brother Moltor, steals all five, rebuilds the Corona Aurora and attacks the world. Mack destroys him but dies in the effort; placing the crown on his head brings him back as a human with his memories intact. The team then splits up, each going their own way.
