The story
The Power Rangers continue their search for the Energems after Sledge’s defeat, but soon learn that his most dangerous prisoner, the evil Heckyl, survived! In light of this new threat, Kendall creates a powerful new Dino Charger that unlocks the Red Ranger’s T-Rex Super Charge mode! It will take every Zord, Megazord, and Dino Charger in the Power Rangers’ arsenal to finally unite all ten Energems and save the universe!

Power Rangers Dino Super Charge (2016) pulls the Dino Charge team back into action when Heckyl and his monstrous other half, Snide, take over Sledge's crew. The twenty-third season aired 22 episodes on Nickelodeon from January to December 2016, and it continues Dino Charge directly. Tyler Navarro (Brennan Mejia), Shelby Watkins (Camille Hyde), Koda (Yoshi Sudarso), Riley Griffin (Michael Taber), Chase Randall (James Davies), Sir Ivan (Davi Santos), Prince Phillip III (Jarred Blakiston) and Kendall Morgan (Claire Blackwelder) gain two more allies: the Aqua Ranger, Tyler's long-lost father James, and the Silver Ranger, Zenowing, once Keeper's apprentice. The mercenary Singe arrives with his employer Lord Arcanon, who holds an eleventh, Dark Energem and overthrows Heckyl. Heckyl learns Arcanon destroyed his home world, splits from Snide and slowly turns good. Sledge, who survived after all, defeats Arcanon and returns as the main threat.
Power Rangers Dino Super Charge ending explained
Power Rangers Dino Super Charge ends its story with "End of Extinction". Sledge tries to drag Earth away from the sun, and destroying the Dark Energem creates a black hole that swallows the planet. Keeper reveals that the ten Energems together allow time travel and sends the Rangers back 65 million years, where they and Heckyl defeat Sledge before his asteroids can hit Earth. Returning home, they find the museum is now a zoo, because the dinosaurs never died out. A Christmas special, "Here Comes Heximas", follows.
