The story

Millions of years ago, an intergalactic bounty hunter named Sledge tried desperately to capture the 10 mysterious Energems, each capable of filling whomever possessed them with incredible powers. Keeper, the wise and ancient guardian of the Energems, entrusted each Energem to the Earth's mightiest beasts, the dinosaurs, for protection. Centuries later after the dinosaurs went extinct, some of the Energems were discovered by humans. Those who proved worthy gained the ability to morph into Power Rangers. But now, Sledge has returned and has vowed to capture the Energems at all costs. It is up to the Power Rangers Dino Charge to hunt down the rest of the Energems and defeat Sledge once and for all!

Power Rangers Dino Charge (2015) follows teens bonded to Energems, stones an alien hid with the dinosaurs, as the bounty hunter Sledge returns for them. The twenty-second season aired 22 episodes on Nickelodeon from February to December 2015, adapting Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. The alien Keeper and paleontologist Kendall Morgan (Claire Blackwelder) run a base under the Amber Beach Dinosaur Museum. Tyler Navarro (Brennan Mejia), searching for his missing father, leads Shelby Watkins (Camille Hyde), the caveman Koda (Yoshi Sudarso), kept in suspended animation for 100,000 years, Riley Griffin (Michael Taber) and New Zealand skater Chase Randall (James Davies). Sledge's crew of Poisandra, Fury, Wrench and Curio hunts the remaining gems with help from the monsters held in their prison ship. Sir Ivan of Zandar (Davi Santos), an 800-year-old knight trapped inside Fury, becomes the Gold Ranger, and Prince Phillip III (Jarred Blakiston) becomes Graphite. Late in the season Sledge strikes a deal with Heckyl, a prisoner even his crew fears. The story continues in Dino Super Charge.

Power Rangers Dino Charge ending explained

Power Rangers Dino Charge ends with "One More Energem". Kendall stows away on Sledge's ship, rescues Keeper and bonds with the Purple Energem, while Tyler stays aboard alone to recover his stolen Red Energem and fight Sledge. The Rangers appear to defeat Sledge and his crew and disband, but Heckyl and his monstrous other half, Snide, have survived, setting up Dino Super Charge.
