Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea recap

The pirate Phantom wants the egg of Manaphy, the Prince of the Sea, which can lead him to the treasure of the Sea Temple, Samiya. Jack Walker, a Pokémon Ranger, steals the egg first and hides with the Marina Group, a travelling circus descended from the People of the Water. Ash, May, Max and Brock join them. Manaphy hatches in May's arms and treats her as its mother, and May grows attached even though Jack warns that Manaphy must go to Samiya. Manaphy swims off after May's lost bandana, and the search for it leads Ash, Max, Brock and Lizabeth, the Marina Group's daughter, to the temple during a lunar eclipse, with Phantom close behind. He pries the jewels from the Sea Crown at its heart, and the temple floods and begins to sink.

Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea ending explained

Jack fights Phantom and replaces most of the jewels, and Ash dives into the flooded chamber to return the last one, raising the temple. Phantom grabs Manaphy, but Ash takes it back, and Manaphy calls wild sea Pokémon, including Kyogre, to finish off his ship. Phantom is arrested, and Manaphy, now Samiya's ruler, says a tearful goodbye to May as the temple sinks back into the sea.
