Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys recap

A meteorite crashes near a polar research base, and the alien Pokémon Deoxys hatches from it. Rayquaza, guardian of the sky, attacks it as an invader, and their battle leaves a boy named Tory terrified of Pokémon. Rayquaza wins, and Deoxys's crystal sinks into the sea. Four years later, Ash, May, Max and Brock arrive in LaRousse City, a high tech city run by security robots, where Tory now lives with his father, Professor Lund. Deoxys comes back looking for a second Deoxys whose crystal is stored in Lund's lab. It makes copies of itself that trap the city's people in cubes and cuts LaRousse off with a force field. Rayquaza breaks through, and the two fight across the city.

Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys ending explained

When the city's robots malfunction and swarm everyone, both Deoxys protect Rayquaza, and Rayquaza turns on the robots instead. Ash and Tory shut down the robots' controller, and the green Deoxys catches Tory when he falls. Rayquaza leaves in peace, the two Deoxys fly off together, and Tory, no longer afraid, says goodbye with Plusle and Minun on his shoulders.
