One Piece Film Red recap
Uta, the world's most famous singer, gives her first live concert on the island of Elegia. She is Luffy's childhood friend and the adopted daughter of Shanks, the pirate who inspired Luffy, who left her on Elegia years ago. Her Devil Fruit lets her pull people into a dream world through her voice, and she traps the audience, including the Straw Hats, in an endless concert, planning a New Genesis: keeping everyone happy forever inside her songs. She has eaten a mushroom that will keep her awake until she dies. Luffy fights her, and the Marines and pirates in the real world try to stop her. Gordon, the former king of Elegia who raised her, reveals the truth: as a child she accidentally woke Tot Musica, a demon that destroyed the island, and Shanks took the blame.
