Danny Phantom recap

Danny Fenton, fourteen, is the son of two ghost hunters, Jack and Maddie, who build a portal to the Ghost Zone in their basement. When Danny steps inside and switches it on by accident, he becomes half ghost. He can turn into Danny Phantom, with powers of flight, invisibility and intangibility, and he uses them to protect his town, Amity Park, from ghosts coming through the portal, while his own parents try to catch him. His best friends Sam Manson, a goth, and Tucker Foley, a tech fan, help him, and his sister Jazz learns his secret in season 1. His main enemy is Vlad Masters, his father's old college friend, who is also half ghost as the villain Vlad Plasmius. Valerie Gray becomes a ghost hunter who targets Danny. The series runs three seasons, from 2004 to 2007; the last season introduces Dani, a girl cloned from Danny by Vlad.

Danny Phantom ending explained

The finale, "Phantom Planet" (2007), has Vlad expose himself as a ghost and try to rule the world while an asteroid heads for Earth. Danny briefly gives up his powers, gets them back, and leads the ghosts of the Ghost Zone to make the whole planet intangible so the asteroid passes through. He reveals his identity to the world, Vlad is stranded in space, and Danny and Sam kiss. There has been no revival series.
