Wonder Man recap

In this eight-episode satire, a rule called the Doorman Clause keeps people with superpowers out of the Hollywood film business. Simon Williams, a struggling actor with secret ionic powers, sneaks into the audition for a remake of an old superhero film, Wonder Man, by director Von Kovak. There he meets Trevor Slattery, the actor who once played the Mandarin, back in Hollywood after his time as a prisoner. The Department of Damage Control arrests Trevor and offers him a deal: spy on Simon, whom they consider dangerous. The two become friends as they help each other through self-tapes, a family party, a run-in with drug dealers and callbacks at Kovak's mansion, and both are cast. One episode tells the story of DeMarr Davis, the Doorman, whose fall led to the clause.

Wonder Man ending explained

Trevor admits his deal to Simon, and Simon's powers destroy the film set. Trevor takes the blame and is sent to a Damage Control prison, and the film is finished without him. Simon gets into the prison by posing as a filmmaker and breaks Trevor out, and the two fly away together.
