GoldenEye recap
In 1986, Bond and agent 006, Alec Trevelyan, raid a Soviet chemical weapons plant, and Trevelyan appears to be shot by Colonel Ourumov. Nine years later, Judi Dench is the new M. Ourumov, now a general, and the assassin Xenia Onatopp steal the controls of GoldenEye, a satellite weapon that fires an electromagnetic pulse, and use it to destroy the Severnaya base in Siberia. The only survivor is programmer Natalya Simonova. In St. Petersburg, Bond meets the head of the Janus crime syndicate and finds it is Trevelyan, who faked his death and wants revenge on Britain for the betrayal of his Cossack parents. Bond chases Ourumov through the streets in a tank and kills him.
GoldenEye ending explained
Trevelyan plans to use the second GoldenEye satellite to wipe out London's financial records while stealing from the Bank of England. Bond and Natalya find his base under a lake in Cuba. Bond kills Xenia, and Natalya reprograms the satellite to burn up. Bond fights Trevelyan on the radio dish and drops him from the antenna, and the falling cradle crushes him.
