The story
Four years after the events of Halloween in 2018, Laurie has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Halloween Ends recap
In 2019, Corey Cunningham is babysitting a boy who falls to his death in an accident, and the town treats Corey as a killer even after he is cleared. In 2022, Laurie lives with Allyson, writing a memoir and trying to move on, though the town blames her for provoking Michael. She meets Corey and introduces him to Allyson, and the two fall for each other. Bullied and beaten, Corey is dragged into a storm drain where Michael has been hiding, weakened, for four years. Michael spares him, and Corey begins killing his tormentors, with and without Michael, and Michael regains his strength. Laurie sees the change in Corey and tries to keep Allyson away from him.
Halloween Ends ending explained
Corey comes for Laurie, and when she shoots him, he stabs himself in the neck to frame her as Allyson walks in. Michael arrives and finishes Corey. Laurie fights Michael in her kitchen, pins him to the table with knives and cuts his throat and wrist. She and Allyson take his body through town to a scrapyard and feed it into an industrial shredder. Laurie finishes her book. This ends the 2018 trilogy.
