The story
It is the Universal Century, year 0153. The Zanscare Empire, which rules almost all of Side 2, has declared its independence from the old government, the hollow and corrupt Earth Federation. Under the justification of creating a new, space-based order, it has begun an invasion of Earth; and Point Kasarelia, the illegal residence area in Eastern Europe where Üso Ewin and Shahkti Kareen live, is no exception. As they are caught in the fighting between Zanscare and the opposing resistance organization, the League Militaire, fate draws Üso and his friends into the midst of battle.
Mobile Suit Victory Gundam recap
In UC 0153, the Earth Federation has weakened, and the Zanscare Empire, ruled from its space colonies by a religion around Queen Maria, invades Europe with its army, BESPA, and publicly executes opponents by guillotine. Thirteen-year-old Uso Ewin of the Eastern European town of Kasarelia is pulled into the war and joins the League Militaire, a small resistance group, piloting the Victory Gundam. His mentor and protector is Marbet Fingerhut. His childhood friend Katejina Loos defects to Zanscare and becomes a ruthless pilot, and his friend Shahkti turns out to be the daughter of Queen Maria. Uso learns that his mother Myra is a League Militaire member, and she is killed in battle. The fighting moves to space, where Zanscare builds the Angel Halo, a giant ring meant to send people to sleep with psychic waves.
Mobile Suit Victory Gundam ending explained
Angel Halo is used against Earth. Queen Maria is killed by Tassilo, the officer who rebelled against her, and Uso kills him. In the final battle, many of Uso's friends die, his rival Chronicle Asher dies, and Uso defeats Katejina in the V2 Gundam. Uso rescues Shahkti, and the survivors return to Kasarelia. In the last scene, Shahkti meets a blind, amnesiac woman and realises it is Katejina.
