Goosebumps recap

After his father dies, Zach Cooper moves with his mother Gale to Madison, Delaware, where she is the new vice-principal. He befriends his neighbor Hannah and a classmate, Champ, though Hannah's father warns him off. Hearing a scream from her house, Zach and Champ break in and find locked Goosebumps manuscripts; opening The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena releases the snowman. Hannah's father is R.L. Stine, whose monsters escape into reality from his imagination, so he keeps them locked in their manuscripts. Slappy the Dummy gets out, burns his own book so he can't be caught again, and frees the other monsters across town. Stine reveals that Hannah is a character he wrote, the girl from The Ghost Next Door.

How Goosebumps ends

Stine starts a new story on his magic typewriter at the school to trap every monster at once, but Slappy hurts his hands. Zach, Hannah and Champ finish it at an abandoned amusement park, and Hannah, who knew what she was, opens the manuscript and is pulled in with the monsters. Later Stine brings her back by rewriting her book, but his typewriter starts typing on its own: the invisible boy from My Best Friend Is Invisible was left out and wants revenge.

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween recap

In Wardenclyffe, New York, Sonny Quinn and his friend Sam find an unpublished Goosebumps manuscript in R.L. Stine's abandoned old house, and reading from it brings Slappy the Dummy to life. Slappy tries to join the family, attacking Sonny's sister Sarah's cheating boyfriend and wrecking Sonny's science project, a model of Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe Tower. When they try to get rid of him, he escapes. On Halloween, Slappy brings a store's decorations to life and uses the real Wardenclyffe Tower to animate the whole town's Halloween decor, then kidnaps Sonny and Sarah's mother.

How Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween ends

Helped by their neighbor Mr. Chu, Sarah, Sonny and Sam reach the tower, where Slappy has turned their mother into a dummy. Sarah uses the manuscript with the tower's power to trap Slappy and undo his work. Stine arrives too late, having got their voicemail, and helps Sarah with her college essay. Then Slappy, who survived, traps Stine inside a Goosebumps story of his own.

Fear Street: 1994 recap

In 1994, a mall worker kills his coworkers before Sheriff Nick Goode shoots him, another killing spree in Shadyside, while neighboring Sunnyvale stays rich and safe. Locals blame the witch Sarah Fier, hanged in 1666. Deena has broken up with Sam, who moved to Sunnyvale. After a crash disturbs Sarah Fier's grave and Sam bleeds on her bones, dead killers from Shadyside's past rise and hunt Sam. Deena, her brother Josh and friends Simon and Kate learn the killers only want Sam, and that a woman named C. Berman survived the 1978 Camp Nightwing massacre after dying and being revived.

How Fear Street: 1994 ends

At a supermarket, Kate and Simon are killed while Deena drowns Sam and revives her, and the killers vanish. The police blame Simon and Kate. Deena and Sam get back together, but Sam turns out to be possessed and attacks Deena, who ties her up. C. Berman calls and tells Deena there is no escaping the witch.

Fear Street: 1978 recap

With Sam tied up, Deena and Josh visit C. Berman, who tells them about 1978 at Camp Nightwing. Ziggy Berman is bullied by Sunnyvale campers, and counselor Nick Goode stops it. Her sister Cindy and Cindy's boyfriend Tommy find the diary of Nurse Lane, which says Sarah Fier cut off her hand to make a deal with the devil. Under Sarah Fier's old house, a wall bears the names of every Shadyside killer, including Tommy's, and a possessed Tommy starts killing his way through the camp. Cindy and Alice crawl through caves beneath the camp, find a pile of beating organs, and find Sarah Fier's missing hand.

How Fear Street: 1978 ends

They try to end the curse by burying the hand with her body, but Ziggy bleeds on it and the old killers rise. Alice and Cindy are killed, Ziggy dies too and Nick revives her. C. Berman is Ziggy. In 1994, Deena and Josh dig up the hand and bury it with Sarah Fier, and Deena wakes in 1666 as Sarah.

Fear Street: 1666 recap

In the settlement of Union, before it split into Shadyside and Sunnyvale, Sarah Fier loves Hannah Miller. After a party, the pastor goes mad and kills twelve children, including Sarah's brother, and Solomon Goode kills him. The town blames witchcraft, and Caleb names Sarah and Hannah. Hiding at Solomon's house, Sarah finds that he made the devil's pact himself, trading his neighbors' lives for power and wealth. She refuses to share it, and he cuts off her hand. Sarah confesses to being the witch to save Hannah and is hanged, swearing revenge.

How Fear Street: 1666 ends

Back in 1994, Deena knows the Goodes are behind the curse: every generation, the firstborn Goode repeats Solomon's ritual, and Nick is the one now. With Josh, Ziggy and the mall janitor Martin, she lures Nick into the mall and turns the killers on him, then follows him into the tunnels. Sarah Fier possesses Deena and kills Nick, ending the curse. Shadyside recovers and Sam is free, and Deena and Sam visit Sarah's grave.

Fear Street: Prom Queen recap

In 1988, outcast Lori Granger runs for prom queen at Shadyside High against queen bee Tiffany Falconer and her friends, nicknamed the Wolfpack. Lori is shunned because of rumors her mother killed her father. The night before prom, another candidate is killed by a masked figure with an axe, and on prom night the candidates and their dates start dying around the school. There are two killers.

How Fear Street: Prom Queen ends

Lori is crowned just as the killer bursts into the gym, and she stabs him in the eye with her tiara: it is Tiffany's father, Dan Falconer. At Tiffany's house, Tiffany's mother, Nancy, turns out to be the second killer, and Tiffany helped them. Nancy killed Lori's father after he left her for Lori's mother. Lori kills Tiffany and then Nancy, whose blood forms the witch's mark.
