Jurassic Park recap

When a park worker is killed by a velociraptor, the investors in John Hammond's new island theme park demand experts sign off on it. Hammond brings palaeontologist Alan Grant, palaeobotanist Ellie Sattler, mathematician Ian Malcolm and lawyer Donald Gennaro to Isla Nublar off Costa Rica, along with his grandchildren, Lex and Tim. The park holds living dinosaurs cloned from DNA preserved in mosquitoes trapped in amber, with gaps filled with frog DNA, and all of them are female so they cannot breed. Malcolm warns that life will find a way. During the tour, a storm hits, and computer programmer Dennis Nedry shuts down the park's security to smuggle embryos out for a rival company. The fences go dark, a Tyrannosaurus breaks out and eats Gennaro, and Nedry is killed by a Dilophosaurus. Grant finds hatched eggs: the dinosaurs are breeding.

How Jurassic Park ends

Ellie restores the power, and the raptors, now loose, kill the game warden Muldoon and hunt the children through the visitor centre. Lex reboots the security system, and as the raptors corner the group, the T. rex bursts in and kills them. The survivors escape by helicopter, and Hammond gives up on his park.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park recap

Four years later, InGen, now run by Hammond's nephew Peter Ludlow, plans to capture dinosaurs on Isla Sorna, a second island where they were bred, and bring them to a new park in San Diego. Hammond sends Ian Malcolm to document the animals before it happens; Malcolm goes because his girlfriend, palaeontologist Sarah Harding, is already there. Malcolm's daughter Kelly stows away. Hammond's team, with photographer Nick Van Owen and engineer Eddie Carr, sabotages the hunters and frees their captive animals. Nick rescues a wounded baby T. rex, and its parents come for it, pushing a trailer over a cliff and killing Eddie. Both groups are stranded together, and the big-game hunter Roland Tembo tranquilises the adult male.

How The Lost World: Jurassic Park ends

The captured T. rex is shipped to San Diego, kills the crew and escapes into the city. Malcolm and Sarah use the baby to lure it back to the ship, where the baby kills Ludlow. Both are returned to Isla Sorna, which is declared a protected preserve.

Jurassic Park III recap

Alan Grant is short of research money when Paul and Amanda Kirby, who say they are a wealthy couple, hire him to guide an aerial tour over Isla Sorna. Once in the air, Grant learns they plan to land. They are really a divorced middle-class couple looking for their son Eric, who went missing there while paragliding. A Spinosaurus wrecks their plane, kills mercenaries they hired and kills a Tyrannosaurus in a fight. Grant's assistant Billy has secretly stolen raptor eggs, and the raptors hunt the group. They find Eric, who has survived alone for eight weeks, and go through a giant aviary full of Pteranodons, where Billy is attacked.

How Jurassic Park III ends

The group returns the eggs to the raptors, who let them go. Grant calls Ellie Sattler on a satellite phone, and she sends the Navy and Marines to rescue them. Billy turns out to be alive, and as they fly off, Pteranodons fly from the island, perhaps toward new nesting grounds.

Jurassic World recap

Twenty-two years after Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar is home to Jurassic World, a successful dinosaur park owned by Simon Masrani. To boost attendance, Dr. Henry Wu has created a new hybrid, Indominus rex. Park manager Claire Dearing's nephews, Zach and Gray, visit while she is too busy to see them. Masrani asks Owen Grady, an ex-Navy trainer who works with a pack of velociraptors led by Blue, to check the Indominus's enclosure. The Indominus fakes its escape, gets out, and kills the team sent to capture it. Zach and Gray are caught in the open in a gyrosphere. Masrani dies when the Indominus frees the pterosaurs into the park, and InGen security chief Vic Hoskins pushes to use the raptors against it.

How Jurassic World ends

The Indominus turns the raptors to her side, then they turn back to Owen. Hoskins is killed. Claire lets the T. rex out to fight the Indominus with Blue, and the Mosasaurus drags it into the lagoon. Wu escapes with embryos, and the park is abandoned.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom recap

Three years after the park's collapse, Isla Nublar's volcano is about to erupt. Claire Dearing, now a dinosaur rights activist, is approached by Eli Mills, who runs the estate of Benjamin Lockwood, Hammond's former partner, with a plan to move the animals to a sanctuary. She recruits Owen to help find Blue. On the island, Mills's mercenaries shoot Blue, capture the dinosaurs and leave Owen and Claire to die as the volcano erupts. At Lockwood's estate, Mills plans to auction the animals as weapons, and Dr. Wu has made the Indoraptor. Lockwood's granddaughter Maisie learns she is a clone of Lockwood's dead daughter. Mills kills Lockwood.

How Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ends

The Indoraptor escapes and is killed by Blue. Mills is eaten by the T. rex. A gas leak threatens the caged dinosaurs, and Maisie opens the doors, letting them loose. Ian Malcolm tells Congress humans must now live alongside dinosaurs, and the animals spread across the mainland.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. In a post-credits scene, Pteranodons fly over Las Vegas and land on the replica Eiffel Tower.

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous recap

During the events of Jurassic World, six teenagers, Darius, Ben, Yaz, Kenji, Brooklynn and Sammy, are the first guests at an adventure camp on Isla Nublar. When the Indominus rex escapes, the park is evacuated without them and they are left behind. In season 1 they survive on their own, Ben befriends a young Ankylosaurus he names Bumpy, and Sammy is revealed as a spy for a company stealing dinosaur DNA. In season 2 they shelter in the abandoned park and run into a team of trophy hunters. In season 3 they try to leave the island, and Sammy frees a Sinoceratops named Maria. In season 4 they end up on a new island run by Mantah Corp, where they meet Mae and Kash, and Kenji and Brooklynn grow close. In season 5 they learn that Kenji's father, Daniel Kon, runs Mantah Corp and is building a program to control dinosaurs, which he plans to sell to Biosyn.

How Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous ends

The teens expose Daniel Kon's dinosaur-control program and finally get off the islands and home to their families. A flash-forward years later shows them as young adults, still talking on video chat, during the events of Jurassic World Dominion. Their story continues in Chaos Theory.

Jurassic World Dominion recap

Four years after the dinosaurs got loose, they live alongside humans around the world. Owen and Claire are hiding Maisie in the Sierra Nevada, and Blue has a baby, Beta. Giant prehistoric locusts are destroying crops, except crops grown with Biosyn seeds, and Ellie Sattler suspects Biosyn. She brings in Alan Grant, and they go to Biosyn's sanctuary in the Italian Alps, invited by Ian Malcolm, who works there. Poachers kidnap Maisie and Beta for Biosyn's CEO, Lewis Dodgson, and Owen and Claire follow them to Malta, where they meet pilot Kayla Watts, who flies them to the sanctuary. Dodgson wants Maisie because her mother engineered her genes.

How Jurassic World Dominion ends

Dodgson's locusts burn, the valley catches fire, and he is killed by Dilophosaurs. Dr. Wu creates a pathogen to wipe out the locusts. Maisie and Beta are freed, Biosyn's valley becomes a sanctuary, and the United Nations protects it. The original trio and the Jurassic World cast part as friends.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory recap

Six years after Camp Cretaceous, the "Nublar Six" have drifted apart. Darius starts investigating when he discovers Brooklynn's death was linked to a dinosaur-smuggling ring. In season 1, the friends reunite and learn that Cabrera, a corrupt official at the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife, was involved, and that Brooklynn may be alive. In season 2, they are stranded at sea, land in Senegal, and learn Brooklynn is alive and working with a cloning broker, Soyona Santos. In season 3, they follow Brooklynn to Italy and Malta and a Biosyn-backed black market. In season 4, the final season, they infiltrate Biosyn Valley, take on Lewis Dodgson, recover Bumpy, and Ben is badly hurt.

How Jurassic World: Chaos Theory ends

The series ends with four seasons, the last released in November 2025. Dr. Wu helps the friends delete Biosyn's data. Ben recovers at Darius's cabin in California, where Kenji also lives. Darius helps the dinosaurs that settled in Biosyn Valley, Brooklynn plans to join him, and Yaz and Sammy run a support group with Dr. Wu for farmers hit by the locusts.

Jurassic World Rebirth recap

By 2027, most of the world has become too cold for dinosaurs, which survive mainly in a belt of islands near the equator. Pharmaceutical executive Martin Krebs hires former operative Zora Bennett, palaeontologist Henry Loomis and boat captain Duncan Kincaid for a secret mission to Ile Saint-Hubert, a former InGen research island, to take blood from three giant species whose DNA could help treat heart disease. On the way they rescue the Delgado family, whose sailboat was capsized by a Mosasaurus. The group is split up, and the Delgados travel on their own, escaping a T. rex on a raft. The team collects samples from a Mosasaurus, a Titanosaurus and a Quetzalcoatlus, losing members to the island's dinosaurs.

How Jurassic World Rebirth ends

At the abandoned InGen complex, the group is attacked by mutated creatures, including the Distortus rex, which destroys their rescue helicopter. Krebs tries to escape with the samples and is killed. Duncan distracts the Distortus rex with a flare and survives, and the others escape by boat. Zora and Henry decide to give the DNA away freely to the world. A sequel was announced in 2026.
