Ice Age recap

As animals migrate south ahead of the cold, a grumpy mammoth named Manny walks the other way and is stuck with Sid, a chatty sloth he saves from two angry rhinos. They find a human baby, Roshan, whose mother handed him over before drowning, and decide to return him to his tribe. Diego, a sabre-tooth tiger, offers to guide them. In secret he works for his pack leader Soto, who wants the baby as revenge on the humans and plans to ambush the group at Half-Peak. On the journey through ice caves and a lava field, Manny saves Diego's life, and Diego starts to change sides. In a cave, drawings show how hunters killed Manny's mate and child, which is why he walks alone.

How Ice Age ends

Diego confesses the trap, and at Half-Peak he turns on Soto's pack and is badly wounded protecting Manny. Manny knocks Soto into icicles, and the herd returns Roshan to his father. Diego recovers, and the three head south together as friends. Scrat, frozen in a block of ice, thaws 20,000 years later on a tropical beach, and when he buries a coconut he sets off a volcano.

Ice Age: The Meltdown recap

The ice is melting, and the herd runs a water park in a valley until Fast Tony, a con-artist armadillo, warns that the glaciers are about to break and flood it. The animals have three days to reach a boat at the far end of the valley. Manny worries he is the last mammoth, until he meets Ellie, a mammoth raised by possums who thinks she is one, travelling with her possum brothers Crash and Eddie. Manny and Ellie clash, then grow close, but when Manny suggests they owe it to their species to have a family, she storms off. Diego hides a fear of water, mini sloths try to sacrifice Sid as their fire king, and two ancient sea reptiles, Cretaceous and Maelstrom, stalk the herd from the meltwater. Scrat keeps chasing his acorn through all of it.

How Ice Age: The Meltdown ends

The dam breaks. Manny saves Ellie from a collapsing cave and fights off the sea reptiles, and Diego overcomes his fear to rescue Sid. The flood stops when Scrat's acorn cracks open the ice wall and drains the water. A herd of mammoths appears, but Ellie chooses to stay with Manny, and the friends stay together as a family.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs recap

Manny and Ellie are expecting a baby, Diego worries he has gone soft, and Sid feels left out. Sid finds three eggs in an icy cave and adopts them, and they hatch into baby Tyrannosaurus. Their mother comes for them and carries the babies and Sid down into a hidden world of dinosaurs beneath the ice. The herd follows and meets Buck, a one-eyed weasel who has lived underground for years and is obsessed with hunting Rudy, a giant albino dinosaur that took his eye. Buck guides them through the jungle to rescue Sid. Ellie goes into labour on the way, and Scrat falls for a female, Scratte, who competes with him for the acorn.

How Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ends

Ellie gives birth to a daughter, Peaches, while Manny and Diego fight off a pack of dinosaurs. The herd saves Sid from Rudy, with help from the dinosaur mother, and Buck traps Rudy before choosing to stay underground. The herd returns to the surface as a family of four, and Scrat ends up with his acorn but without Scratte.

Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas recap

Eight years after Dawn of the Dinosaurs, in this 25-minute TV special, Manny brings out the family's Christmas Rock, an heirloom meant to guide Santa to them. Sid tops the tree with an icy star that flies off and shatters the rock. Manny puts Sid on the "Naughty List" and tells Ellie Santa isn't real; Peaches overhears and is upset. To prove Santa exists and get Sid off the list, Peaches sets out for the North Pole with Sid, Crash and Eddie. They are lost in a whiteout and saved by Prancer, a flying reindeer who joins them. Manny, Ellie and Diego go after them. At the North Pole, an avalanche ruins Santa's workshop, and an angry Santa puts the whole herd on the Naughty List, which convinces Manny he is real.

How Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas ends

The animals repair the damage and build Santa a sleigh. Santa has more gifts than ever, so Prancer brings in his family, Dasher, Dancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, to pull it. The herd is moved to the Nice List and Santa takes off into the night.

Ice Age: Continental Drift recap

Scrat's hunt for his acorn cracks the supercontinent apart. Manny is fighting with his teenage daughter Peaches, who has a crush on a mammoth called Ethan and ignores her loyal molehog friend Louis. As the land splits, Manny, Sid, Diego and Sid's grandmother, whom his family has just dumped on him, are swept out to sea on an ice floe, while Ellie and Peaches stay behind. A storm drops the four in the path of Captain Gutt, a giant ape pirate, and his crew, including Shira, a sabre-tooth tigress. The herd escapes by stealing the pirates' ship and makes for home, with Gutt chasing them and Diego and Shira drawn to each other. Ellie leads everyone left on the old continent toward a land bridge as the land breaks up behind them.

How Ice Age: Continental Drift ends

Gutt takes Ellie and Peaches hostage, and Manny fights him on the ice. Granny's pet, Precious, turns out to be a whale and saves the herd, and Gutt is beaten and sent off to his death. Shira leaves the pirates and joins the herd beside Diego, Peaches makes up with her father and Louis, and the herd settles in a new home. Scrat reaches Scratlantis and accidentally sinks it.

A short gag with Scrat's acorn plays at the very end of the credits. There is no story scene.

Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade recap

In this 25-minute Easter TV special, set before Collision Course, the herd is getting ready for the holiday and Sid sets up an egg-sitting business. Squint, a pirate rabbit from Captain Gutt's old crew, wants revenge on the herd for sinking Gutt's ship, so he steals every egg in Sid's care and frames him for losing them. Manny and Diego help Sid search, and Squint's lazy brother Clint gives them a map. The eggs turn out to be painted to hide them, and when the herd finds them, one is missing. Squint holds it hostage and demands the herd build him a new ship by the next day. The missing egg, painted to look like an acorn, has been grabbed by Scrat.

How Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade ends

Clint leads Squint into an ambush, Scrat throws the egg off a cliff when he finds it isn't an acorn, and the herd catches it. Sid beats Squint with the prank Crash and Eddie had set up earlier. The families get their eggs back, and Sid suggests Clint paint and hide eggs every year, making him the first Easter Bunny.

Ice Age: Collision Course recap

Scrat, chasing his acorn, launches a buried alien spaceship and sends an asteroid on course for Earth. On the ground, Peaches is engaged to Julian, a mammoth Manny doesn't trust, and the couple plan to leave the herd. Diego and Shira want children, Sid has been dumped, and Manny has forgotten his anniversary with Ellie. Meteorites start falling, and Buck returns from underground with an ancient stone that shows asteroids have wiped out life before and points to the crash site of an old one. A trio of flying dinosaurs try to stop the herd so they can survive the impact and rule what is left. The herd reaches Geotopia, a community inside an old asteroid whose crystals keep its residents young, ruled by Shangri Llama. Sid falls for Brooke, a sloth who lives there.

How Ice Age: Collision Course ends

Buck works out that the crystals are magnetic, and Sid accidentally breaks them, ageing the residents. The herd and the Geotopians pack a volcano with the crystals, Julian helps Manny push the last one into place, and the eruption fires them into the sky, pulling the asteroid away from Earth. Peaches and Julian marry, Brooke finds Sid again, and Granny stays behind in a hot spring that keeps her young.

During the credits, Scrat is shown battered by the spaceship's automatic doors. There is no scene after the credits.

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild recap

Crash and Eddie, the possum brothers, cause an avalanche that wrecks the herd's summer home, and when the adults say they could never survive alone, they sneak off to prove them wrong. They fall into the Lost World, the dinosaur land under the ice, where Buck saves them from raptors. Buck explains that Orson, a big-brained Protoceratops he once helped banish, has escaped, learned to command raptors with fire and blocked the only way out. Buck tells how he and a group of friends built a peaceful watering hole that Orson tried to take over. Zee, an old teammate who fell out with Buck, rescues them, and they recruit Momma, a female T. rex. Ellie goes looking for the possums, with Manny, Sid and Diego following.

How The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild ends

Orson captures Buck and plans to feed him to the raptors, but Zee and the possums free him and the herd and Momma join the battle. Crash and Eddie realise fire controls the raptors and use fire-breathing lizards to turn them on Orson, who is chased away. Crash and Eddie choose to stay with Buck and Zee, and Ellie, proud of them, lets them go.

Ice Age: Scrat Tales recap

Six short, dialogue-free episodes follow Scrat after he discovers a baby Scrat and decides to raise him. The problem is the acorn: the baby wants it as much as Scrat does. Scrat tries to steal it from the sleeping baby without waking him, since a tantrum could set off an avalanche. He pretends to teach the baby to plant it, though the lesson is really a trap that backfires. The two find that their reflections come to life when no one is looking, and a baby dodo steals the acorn and leaves father and son balancing on a log over a drop.

How Ice Age: Scrat Tales ends

In the last episode, "Nut the End", the acorn vanishes and Scrat and his son seem to settle into peace. Scrat dies of old age, but as his ghost rises he discovers the disappearance was the baby's trick, and he goes back into his old body for revenge. Scrat and his son return in Ice Age: Boiling Point.
