The Fast and the Furious recap

In Los Angeles, a crew in black Honda Civics is hijacking trucks of electronics on the highway. LAPD officer Brian O'Connor goes undercover as a street racer to find them. He gets close to Dominic Toretto, a legendary street racer, by losing a race and his car to him, then dating Dom's sister Mia. Dom's crew, Letty, Vince, Leon and Jesse, are suspicious, Vince most of all. Brian's bosses believe Johnny Tran, a rival racer, is behind the hijackings, but a raid on Tran turns up nothing. Brian starts to realise Dom is the one, and grows close to him anyway.

How The Fast and the Furious ends

A hijacking goes wrong, and a trucker shoots Vince; Brian reveals he is a cop to call in a medical helicopter. Tran kills Jesse in a drive-by, and Brian shoots Tran dead. Brian chases Dom in a final race, Dom crashes his Charger, and Brian gives him the keys to his own car and lets him go.

Yes. After the credits, Dom is shown driving through Mexico in a Chevelle, free.

The Turbo Charged Prelude recap

This short film, about six minutes long and without dialogue, bridges the first two films. After letting Dom escape, Brian O'Connor goes on the run as the police and FBI hunt him. He drives across the United States, winning street races for cash and building up a new car, and stays one step ahead of the law. Each stop shows him upgrading his ride and leaving another town behind.

How The Turbo Charged Prelude ends

Brian makes it to Miami, where he settles into its street racing scene with a Nissan Skyline GT-R, picking up where 2 Fast 2 Furious begins.

2 Fast 2 Furious recap

Brian O'Connor, now an ex-cop wanted for letting Dom go, is street racing in Miami when US Customs arrests him. Agents Markham and Monica Fuentes offer him a clean record if he goes undercover to bring down Carter Verone, a drug lord laundering money through car deliveries. Brian insists on choosing his partner and picks his childhood friend Roman Pearce, an ex-con who blames Brian for his time in prison. They win the job of driving Verone's money, while Monica, undercover as Verone's girlfriend, warns Brian that Verone plans to kill them once the job is done. Tej Parker, a local race organiser, helps them, and the two friends slowly patch things up.

How 2 Fast 2 Furious ends

Brian and Roman use a crowd of street racers to scatter the police, then switch cars, and Brian rescues Monica from Verone's plane by launching a car onto a boat. Verone is arrested. Brian and Roman are cleared, and they secretly keep some of Verone's cash.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift recap

Sean Boswell, a troubled teenager from Arizona, keeps getting into trouble for street racing and is sent to live with his father, a US Navy officer in Tokyo. Sean is pulled into the city's underground drift racing scene and loses his first race and a borrowed car to Takashi, the "Drift King", whose uncle is in the yakuza. Han Lue, Takashi's business partner, takes Sean under his wing and teaches him to drift. Sean grows close to Neela, Takashi's girlfriend. When Takashi's uncle finds Han has been skimming from him, Takashi chases Han and Sean through Tokyo.

How The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift ends

Han's car is hit and explodes, killing him. To settle things, Sean races Takashi down a mountain, with the loser leaving Tokyo, and wins, becoming the new Drift King. In the final scene, Dom Toretto appears to race Sean, saying Han was family. Fast & Furious 6 later shows that this film is set after it.

Fast & Furious recap

Dom and Letty are pulling fuel truck heists in the Dominican Republic, and Dom leaves to protect the crew. Weeks later, Mia tells him Letty has been murdered. Dom returns to Los Angeles to find her killer. Brian, now with the FBI, is hunting the drug lord Arturo Braga, and both men end up driving for Braga's crew, smuggling heroin over the US and Mexico border through tunnels. Brian and Dom meet again and clash. Letty, they learn, was working undercover for Brian to clear Dom, and Braga's man Fenix killed her. Gisele Yashar, Braga's liaison, helps Dom.

How Fast & Furious ends

Brian and Dom catch Braga in Mexico and drag him back through the tunnels. Dom kills Fenix. Brian is wounded, and Dom stays with him instead of escaping. Dom is sentenced to 25 years, and in the final scene Brian, Mia and the crew race to intercept his prison bus.

Los Bandoleros recap

This short film, about 20 minutes long and directed by Vin Diesel, is set before Fast & Furious (2009). Dom is hiding in the Dominican Republic, five years after escaping Los Angeles. He gathers Han and Rico Santos and plans to break their friend Tego Leo out of prison. Dom meets Elvis, a local politician, who wants to use the theft of a fuel tanker for his own gain, while Dom wants to give the fuel to Rico's aunt and the local people. Cara and Malo, two of Dom's friends, join the crew at a nightclub, where Elvis sets the robbery for the next morning on a highway.

How Los Bandoleros ends

Letty arrives unannounced, and she and Dom drive to the beach and rekindle their relationship. The film leads straight into the fuel heist that opens Fast & Furious.

Fast Five recap

After breaking Dom out of the prison bus, Brian, Mia and Dom flee to Rio de Janeiro. A job stealing cars from a train goes wrong, and they learn the cars belong to Hernan Reyes, a corrupt businessman who controls the city. One car holds a chip with his ledger. Hunted by Reyes and by Luke Hobbs, a US agent sent after Dom, the team decides to steal all of Reyes's money and retire. Dom assembles a crew: Roman, Tej, Han, Gisele, Vince and Tego and Rico. Mia reveals she is pregnant with Brian's child. Reyes moves his money into a vault in a police station.

How Fast Five ends

Reyes's men ambush Hobbs's team and kill Vince, and Hobbs joins Dom. The crew rips the vault out of the police station and drags it through Rio, swapping it for a decoy. Brian kills Reyes's enforcer and Hobbs kills Reyes. Hobbs gives the crew a 24-hour head start, and each member retires rich.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. In a mid-credits scene, Monica Fuentes gives Hobbs a file about a convoy robbery in Berlin, and a photo inside shows Letty alive.

Fast & Furious 6 recap

Hobbs finds Dom in the Canary Islands and asks for help catching Owen Shaw, an ex-special forces soldier whose crew steals military hardware using precision driving. In return he offers pardons, and shows Dom proof that Letty is alive and working for Shaw. Dom reunites the crew in London, alongside Hobbs's partner Riley. Letty has amnesia and doesn't remember Dom. Brian goes back to the United States, where he learns Letty went undercover for him in Braga's gang. Shaw kidnaps Mia to force a trade.

How Fast & Furious 6 ends

The team chases Shaw's cargo plane down a runway. Riley turns out to be Shaw's mole, and Letty kills her; Gisele dies saving Han. Shaw is thrown from the plane and left in a coma. Letty decides to stay with Dom, and the crew gets their pardons and returns to Los Angeles.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. In a mid-credits scene, the Tokyo crash that killed Han in Tokyo Drift plays again, revealing that Owen's older brother Deckard Shaw caused it. Deckard calls Dom: "You don't know me, but you're about to."

Furious 7 recap

Deckard Shaw visits his comatose brother Owen, then kills Han in Tokyo and blows up Dom's house. Mr. Nobody, a government operative, offers Dom a way to find Shaw: rescue Ramsey, a hacker who has built God's Eye, a program that can find anyone through phones and cameras, from the mercenary Mose Jakande. The crew parachutes cars onto a mountain road in the Caucasus to free her, steals the program back from a billionaire's tower in Abu Dhabi, and returns to Los Angeles. Brian, now a father, struggles with suburban life, and Letty slowly recovers her memories.

How Furious 7 ends

In Los Angeles, Shaw and Jakande, using God's Eye, attack the crew. Hobbs destroys Jakande's helicopter, Dom beats Shaw, who is taken to prison, and Ramsey takes back God's Eye. Letty tells Dom she remembers their wedding. Brian retires to his family, and Dom says goodbye as their cars split on the road, a farewell to Paul Walker.

The Fate of the Furious recap

On honeymoon in Havana, Dom is approached by Cipher, a cyberterrorist, who shows him something that makes him betray his team. He steals an electromagnetic pulse device in Berlin from his own family. Mr. Nobody brings in Deckard Shaw to help the crew catch him. Cipher is holding Elena, Dom's former partner, and their baby son, whom Dom never knew about. Cipher has Dom help her hack hundreds of cars in New York and steal a nuclear briefcase. When Dom resists, Cipher has Elena killed. Deckard and his mother Magdalene secretly work with Dom to rescue the boy.

How The Fate of the Furious ends

In Russia, Cipher tries to steal a nuclear submarine. Deckard rescues Dom's son, freeing Dom to turn on Cipher, and the team stops the submarine. Cipher escapes. Dom names his son Brian, and Deckard joins the family.

Hobbs & Shaw recap

MI6 agent Hattie Shaw injects herself with a programmable virus called Snowflake to stop it falling into the hands of Brixton Lore, a cybernetically enhanced terrorist working for the shadowy tech group Eteon. Brixton frames her as a traitor. Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, Hattie's brother, who loathe each other, are forced to work together to find her and extract the virus before it kills her. They chase her across London, then to a lab in Ukraine, and finally to Samoa, Hobbs's homeland, where his estranged family helps them.

How Hobbs & Shaw ends

Hobbs's brothers and the Samoans fight Brixton's men with traditional weapons, and Hobbs and Shaw beat Brixton together. Eteon's director, heard only as a voice, terminates Brixton. The virus is extracted, and Hobbs reconciles with his family.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. In mid-credits and post-credits scenes, Hobbs takes calls from CIA agent Locke, played by Ryan Reynolds, who mentions a new virus threat, and Hobbs gets revenge on Shaw with a prank in a London pub.

Tony Toretto, Dom's teenage cousin, and his friends Echo, Cisco, Frostee and Layla are recruited by Ms. Nowhere, the head of a secret agency, to infiltrate SH1FT3R, a crime ring that uses street racing as a front. Over six seasons on Netflix from 2019 to 2021, the crew takes missions around the world. In season 1, in Los Angeles, they chase a device called the Skeleton Key and fight SH1FT3R's leader Shashi Dhar. In season 2, Rio, Rafaela Moreno tries to take over the city with a mind-control formula. Season 3, in the Sahara, brings back the billionaire Cleve Kelso with weather satellites. Season 4, Mexico, sees the team framed by Moray, a former agent. Season 5 sends them to the South Pacific against an arms dealer, and season 6, Homecoming, returns them to Los Angeles to face a cyborg called DANN.

How Fast & Furious Spy Racers ends

In the final episode, DANN's AI takes over a group of super-soldiers to destroy Los Angeles, and Frostee uses an EMP to wipe and reprogram them, with Dom stepping in to help. The series ends with the crew at Ms. Nowhere's wedding.

F9 recap

Dom and Letty are raising young Brian in the countryside when a plane carrying Mr. Nobody and the captive Cipher is shot down in Central America. The crew finds a piece of Project Aries, a device that can hack any weapons system on Earth, and Dom learns the man behind the attack is his estranged younger brother Jakob, a spy and assassin. Flashbacks show the brothers as young men, when their father died in a race crash that Dom blamed on Jakob. Han turns up alive, having faked his death with Mr. Nobody's help to protect a girl, Elle, whose DNA is the key to Aries. Jakob is working with Otis, a rich man's son, and Cipher.

How F9 ends

Roman and Tej fly a rocket-powered car into orbit and destroy the Aries satellite. Otis turns on Jakob, who joins Dom, and Cipher escapes. Dom lets Jakob go. The family gathers for a barbecue, with a place set for Brian, and Brian's car pulls up.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. In a post-credits scene, Deckard Shaw is working out when Han, alive, appears at his door, setting up a reckoning over Han's death.

Fast X recap

Ten years after the Rio heist, Dante Reyes, son of the drug lord Hernan Reyes, survived the bridge crash and comes for revenge on Dom's family. He frames the crew for a bombing in Rome, and the new head of the Agency, Aimes, declares them terrorists. The crew scatters: Roman, Tej, Han and Ramsey end up in London; Letty is arrested and held in a black site in Antarctica, where she teams up with Cipher. Tess, Mr. Nobody's daughter, helps Dom. Dante hunts the family one by one and goes after Dom's son, and Jakob protects young Brian.

How Fast X ends

Dante traps Dom and his son on a dam in Portugal and blows it up, leaving them in the water below. Jakob seems to die, Gisele turns up alive in Antarctica, and Dante survives. The film ends on a cliffhanger to be resolved in a final film.
