Fast X is #14 of 14 in release order and #13 of 14 in chronological order in the Fast & Furious.

The story

Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they've ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who's fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.

Fast X recap

Ten years after the Rio heist, Dante Reyes, son of the drug lord Hernan Reyes, survived the bridge crash and comes for revenge on Dom's family. He frames the crew for a bombing in Rome, and the new head of the Agency, Aimes, declares them terrorists. The crew scatters: Roman, Tej, Han and Ramsey end up in London; Letty is arrested and held in a black site in Antarctica, where she teams up with Cipher. Tess, Mr. Nobody's daughter, helps Dom. Dante hunts the family one by one and goes after Dom's son, and Jakob protects young Brian.

Fast X ending explained

Dante traps Dom and his son on a dam in Portugal and blows it up, leaving them in the water below. Jakob seems to die, Gisele turns up alive in Antarctica, and Dante survives. The film ends on a cliffhanger to be resolved in a final film.

Post-credits scenes
