Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II recap

After the Mecha-King Ghidorah battle, the United Nations creates G-Force, which builds Mechagodzilla from the cyborg's technology. A Japanese and Russian team finds a giant egg on Adonoa Island beside the nest of Rodan, a giant pteranodon. Godzilla arrives and fights Rodan, and the scientists take the egg to Kyoto, where it hatches into a baby Godzilla that bonds with the scientist Azusa Gojo. Godzilla comes to claim the baby, and Mechagodzilla stops it, then is beaten. G-Force learns that Godzilla has a second brain in its hips and fits Mechagodzilla with a weapon to hit it, using the baby as bait. Kazuma Aoki, a pilot fond of pteranodons, pilots the Garuda aircraft. Rodan, now Fire Rodan, intercepts the baby's transport and is wounded.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II ending explained

Rodan gives his life force to Godzilla, who destroys Mechagodzilla and leaves with the baby. Mechagodzilla joins with the Garuda and destroys Godzilla's second brain, but the dying Rodan revives Godzilla, which then melts the machine. The baby is frightened at first, but Miki Saegusa telepathically persuades it to go with its father, and the two swim away together. The baby grows into Little Godzilla in the next film.
