Can everyone put aside their differences and work together—or will it all end in destruction?
Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us recap
Fula City, set in the same continuity as I Choose You!, holds a yearly wind festival in honour of Lugia, which brings the wind on the festival's final day. Fifty years ago a fire burned the mountain forest while people hunted the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora, and the mayor of the time told the town Zeraora was gone to protect it. Now Margo, the mayor's daughter, secretly cares for an injured Zeraora. Ash and Pikachu join the festival's catching contest alongside a cast of locals: Risa, a former runner trying to catch an Eevee for her brother; Callahan, a con man faking expertise to impress his niece; Toren, a shy scientist; and Harriet, an old woman who no longer trusts Pokémon. Team Rocket steal a bottle of Effect Spore, which breaks in the woods and spreads through the city.
