The story
When the sadness of her father's disappearance gets to Molly Hale, she unknowingly uses the Unown to create her own dream world along with Entei, who she believes to be her father. Pokémon 3: The Movie recap
In the town of Greenfield, Professor Spencer Hale is pulled into the dimension of the Unown while studying ruins, leaving his young daughter Molly alone; her mother had already vanished. Molly arranges tablets with Unown letters and summons them, and they make her wishes real: her mansion becomes a crystal palace that spreads over the town, and they create an Entei to be her father. Ash, Misty and Brock arrive with a trainer named Lisa, while Professor Oak and Ash's mother Delia come to help their old friends. When Molly wishes for a mother, Entei kidnaps Delia and hypnotises her into believing she is Molly's mom. Ash, Misty and Brock storm the mansion, where an adult dream version of Molly battles Brock and Misty. Ash's Charizard, watching on television, flies in to fight Entei.
Pokémon 3: The Movie ending explained
Molly sees her wishes are hurting people and agrees to leave with Ash and his mother, but the Unown lose control and seal everyone inside. Pikachu, Charizard and Entei break the Unown's barrier with Molly's help, and Entei fades away as the Unown return to their dimension. The crystal vanishes, Professor Hale reappears at the ruins, and Molly is reunited with both her father and her mother. Charizard and Lisa go their own way.
