Mister T recap

Mister T (1983) casts the actor Mr. T as the coach of a gymnastics team that solves mysteries while travelling to competitions. Ruby-Spears Enterprises produced it for NBC, and each episode opens with Mr. T in a live-action introduction and closes with him narrating a moral. The team travels by bus, driven by Ms. Priscilla Bisby (Takayo Fischer), a polite, middle-aged fan of mystery novels. The gymnasts are Jeff Harris (Shawn Lieber), a wisecracker with a big ego; Woody Daniels (Phil LaMarr), his friendly rival; Robin O'Neill (Amy Linker), eager to jump into any situation; Kim Nakamura (Siu Ming Carson), who has a photographic memory; and Robin's younger brother Spike (Teddy Field III), who worships Mr. T. Mr. T's bulldog, Bulldozer, comes along too. Each stop puts the team up against crooks, and Mr. T often finishes the job with his strength. The series ran three seasons and 30 episodes, 13 in 1983, 11 in 1984 and 6 in 1985, on NBC from September 17, 1983, to October 19, 1985, while Mr. T was also starring in The A-Team on the same network.

Mister T ending explained

Mister T ends with "The Cape Kennedy Caper", aired October 19, 1985. On a visit to the Kennedy Space Center, Robin spots two spies photographing the shuttle for terrorists who plan to destroy it once it reaches orbit. She is captured, and Mr. T and the team have to stop the launch, rescue her and catch the spies. It is an ordinary case with no farewell, and the series was not continued.
