Spider-Man: Far From Home recap

Eight months after the Blip, the world mourns Tony Stark, and Peter Parker goes on a school trip to Europe, planning to tell MJ how he feels. In Venice, a water monster attacks, and a man in a cape and helmet fights it: Quentin Beck, who says he is from another Earth where these Elementals killed his family. Nick Fury recruits Peter to help. Peter decides Beck is the right person to inherit EDITH, Tony's sunglasses that control Stark's global satellite and drone network, and hands them over. Beck is a fraud: a former Stark engineer whose team stages the monsters with drones and holograms. MJ finds a projector, and Peter learns the truth. In Berlin, Beck traps Peter in an illusion and leaves him to be hit by a train. Peter goes to Happy for help in the Netherlands.

Spider-Man: Far From Home ending explained
