From Russia with Love recap
SPECTRE's chief, seen only stroking a white cat, approves a plan to steal a Soviet Lektor decoding machine and humiliate Bond in revenge for Dr. No. Former Soviet officer Rosa Klebb recruits Tatiana Romanova, a clerk in Istanbul, to pretend she wants to defect with the Lektor if Bond will escort her. Bond suspects a trap but goes, working with the British station head Kerim Bey. Bond and Tatiana steal the Lektor and board the Orient Express, followed by the SPECTRE assassin Red Grant. Grant kills Kerim, then poses as a British agent, Captain Nash, and drugs Tatiana.
