The Eastrail 177 Trilogy, also called the Unbreakable trilogy, is three M. Night Shyamalan films released from 2000 to 2019: Unbreakable, Split and Glass. A train crash staged by a man with brittle bones creates both a real-world superhero and, by taking a boy's father, the abused child who grows into the Horde; the last film puts all three in one hospital.

Unbreakable recap
Unbreakable (2000) follows David Dunn, a Philadelphia security guard who walks out of a train wreck without a scratch while every other passenger dies. M. Night Shyamalan wrote, produced and directed it. David (Bruce Willis) is the only survivor of the Eastrail 177 derailment, which killed 131 people. A note on his car leads him to Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson), a comic art dealer born with a disease that makes his bones shatter, who argues that if he sits at one extreme of frailty, someone must sit at the other. David, drifting apart from his wife Audrey (Robin Wright), dismisses it, but he lifts more than he should, has never been sick, and once tore open a car door after a crash before faking an injury to quit football. His son Joseph (Spencer Treat Clark) believes completely. Touching strangers in a crowd shows David their crimes, and he follows a janitor to a house where a family is held hostage. Start the trilogy here.
How Unbreakable ends
Unbreakable ends with David shaking Elijah's hand and seeing that Elijah caused the Eastrail crash, a hotel fire and a plane disaster, all to find his opposite. Elijah takes his childhood nickname, Mr. Glass, as the villain's name. Before that, David rescues the hostage children, nearly drowning, kills the janitor, and shows Joseph a newspaper sketch of the unknown hero. On-screen text says David went to the police and Elijah was locked in an institution for the criminally insane. The story resumed 16 years later in the last scene of Split.
Post-credits scenes

Split recap
Split (2016) follows three teenage girls abducted outside a Philadelphia birthday party by a man who carries 23 separate personalities. M. Night Shyamalan wrote, directed and produced it; it premiered at Fantastic Fest in September 2016 and opened in January 2017. Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) holds Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy), Claire and Marcia in a windowless underground space. Two of his identities, the controlling Dennis and the prim Patricia, have pushed the others aside, and with the nine-year-old Hedwig they prepare for a 24th, the Beast. Casey, an outsider with her own history of abuse by her uncle, tries to play the alters against each other. Kevin's psychiatrist Dr. Karen Fletcher (Betty Buckley) notices Dennis pretending to be the alter Barry and grows convinced that personalities can change the body. She visits him and finds one of the captives, and Dennis locks her up. Plays as a standalone thriller until the final scene, which reveals it follows Unbreakable.
How Split ends
Split ends with the Beast emerging, killing Dr. Fletcher, Claire and Marcia, and cornering Casey, then sparing her when he sees the scars of her abuse, calling her pure. She is found the next morning in tunnels under the Philadelphia Zoo, hesitant as her uncle arrives. In a diner, a news report calls the killer the Horde, and a waitress recalls a wheelchair-bound criminal with a similar nickname; David Dunn, sitting at the counter, supplies it: Mr. Glass. Glass followed in 2019.
Post-credits scenes
No. Split has no mid- or post-credits scene; the David Dunn reveal comes just before the credits.

Glass recap
Glass (2019) locks David Dunn, Kevin Wendell Crumb and Elijah Price in one psychiatric hospital whose doctor insists none of them has powers. M. Night Shyamalan wrote and directed this final part. David (Bruce Willis), now a vigilante called the Overseer, works with his grown son Joseph (Spencer Treat Clark) and tracks Kevin (James McAvoy) to a factory where he holds four cheerleaders. Their fight ends in capture by Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson), who locks them in Raven Hill Memorial with a sedated Elijah (Samuel L. Jackson). Staple targets each man's weakness, water for David and flashing light for Kevin, and argues their gifts are delusions. Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy), Joseph and Elijah's mother each fail to persuade her. Elijah has been faking his stupor, survives a botched brain procedure and frees Kevin, planning a public show of the Beast's strength at the new Osaka Tower. Needs both Unbreakable and Split first.
How Glass ends
Glass ends with all three men dead in the hospital parking lot: the Beast fatally wounds Elijah after learning Elijah's train crash killed Kevin's father, a sniper shoots Kevin as Casey reaches his true self, and police drown David in a puddle. Staple reveals she works for a secret group that has hidden superhumans for centuries. Elijah had live-streamed the fight to a private site, and Joseph, Casey and Mrs. Price release the footage to the world. No further film in the series has been made.
Post-credits scenes
No. Glass has no mid- or post-credits scene.
