In season 1, Yuji Itadori, a high schooler with superhuman strength, swallows a cursed finger to save his friends and becomes host to Sukuna, the King of Curses. The higher-ups sentence him to death, but Satoru Gojo has the execution delayed until Yuji has eaten all twenty fingers, and enrols him at Tokyo Jujutsu High with Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. Sukuna kills Yuji in a fight and he is revived in secret. Yuji trains with Kento Nanami and fights Mahito, a curse who reshapes human souls, who kills Yuji's friend Junpei. The Kyoto Goodwill Event becomes a brawl with the Kyoto students, including Aoi Todo, interrupted by a curse attack in which Yuji and Todo fight the Special Grade curse Hanami together. Afterward, Yuji and Nobara defeat Eso and Kechizu, two of the Death Painting brothers, half-human curses. In season 2, the Hidden Inventory arc shows Gojo and Geto as students, failing to protect Riko Amanai from the assassin Toji Fushiguro, Megumi's father, which turns Geto against humanity. In the Shibuya Incident, Kenjaku, in Geto's body, seals Gojo in the Prison Realm. Sukuna takes over Yuji and devastates Shibuya. Mahito kills Nanami and wounds Nobara, and Yuji, with Todo, finally defeats him. In season 3, Yuji's execution is ordered, and Yuta Okkotsu fakes it. Kenjaku's Culling Game forces sorcerers into fights to the death in colonies across Japan. Maki wipes out the Zen'in clan after her sister Mai dies, and Yuji and Megumi recruit Kinji Hakari and enter the Tokyo No. 1 colony.

How Jujutsu Kaisen ends

Season 3 ends partway through the Culling Game. Yuji wins over Higuruma, a former lawyer, who tries him in his Domain, finds him innocent and adds a rule letting players transfer points. Megumi kills Reggie Star and collapses as the player Angel, who can free Gojo, descends to him. In Sendai, Yuta defeats Ishigori and Uro. Season 4 continues the Culling Game.

A year before Yuji's story, high schooler Yuta Okkotsu is haunted by Rika, his childhood friend who died in a car accident when they were eleven and now follows him as a monstrous Special Grade curse. Rika attacks anyone who hurts him, and Yuta wants to die. Satoru Gojo brings him to Tokyo Jujutsu High instead, where he trains with Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki and Panda, and learns to fight with a sword using Rika's power. Suguru Geto, a former classmate of Gojo's who was expelled for murdering non-sorcerers, wants to wipe out ordinary humans and take Rika for himself. On December 24, Geto launches the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, unleashing curses on Shinjuku and Kyoto as a distraction while he attacks Jujutsu High. He beats Maki, Toge and Panda, and Yuta arrives to face him.

How Jujutsu Kaisen 0 ends

Yuta unleashes Rika fully and defeats Geto, then realises that he cursed Rika himself, refusing to let her go when she died. Rika is freed and passes on, happy. The dying Geto meets Gojo, who kills his old friend. Yuta stays at Jujutsu High, lifted out of his despair, and Gojo tells him the truth about his family line. In the series, Geto's body is later revealed to have been taken by Kenjaku, which leads into the Shibuya Incident.

Post-credits scenes

Yes. After the credits, Yuta is in Africa with the sorcerer Miguel, and Gojo arrives with a message, setting up Yuta's return in the main series.
