Blade recap
In 1967, a pregnant woman bitten by a vampire dies giving birth. Thirty years later, her son is Blade, the Daywalker, who raids a vampire rave owned by Deacon Frost. A burned vampire taken to hospital bites the hematologist Karen Jenson, and Blade brings her to his safe house, where his mentor Abraham Whistler treats her. Frost leads the younger, turned vampires and is rebuked by the pure-blood Elders for trying to start a war with humans. He has Elder Dragonetti burned in the sunrise and takes over. Blade tortures the vampire archivist Pearl and learns Frost plans a ritual using twelve pure-bloods to awaken the blood god La Magra, with Blade's blood as the key. Karen finds that the anticoagulant EDTA makes vampire blood explode.
How Blade ends
Frost's men bite Whistler and take Karen, and Blade helps Whistler end his life. At Frost's penthouse Blade finds his mother, Vanessa, alive as a vampire; Frost turned her the night Blade was born. At the Temple of Eternal Night, Frost drains Blade and becomes La Magra, but Karen lets Blade drink her blood. Blade kills his mother and the rest of Frost's followers, then injects Frost with EDTA until he explodes. He asks Karen for a better serum rather than a cure, and in Moscow he faces a vampire.

Blade II recap
In Prague, Blade finds Whistler, who was turned into a vampire and held prisoner for two years, and cures him. A new strain is turning vampires into Reapers, mutants immune to most vampire weaknesses except UV light, and the vampire overlord Eli Damaskinos sends his daughter Nyssa to ask Blade for a truce. Blade joins the Bloodpack, an elite vampire squad trained to kill him, and plants an explosive on the head of its loudest member, Reinhardt. The first Reaper, Jared Nomak, offers Blade a place at his side and is refused. The team raids the Reaper nest in the sewers at dawn, and most of the Bloodpack is killed before Blade sets off a UV bomb.
How Blade II ends
Damaskinos captures Blade and reveals the Reapers are his own experiment and Nomak is his son. Scud, Blade's new technician, turns out to be Damaskinos's familiar, and Blade kills him with the explosive he swapped in. A blood pool restores Blade's strength and he kills Reinhardt. Nyssa turns on her father, Nomak kills Damaskinos and bites her, and Blade stabs Nomak through the heart. Blade carries Nyssa out to die in the sunrise, and later kills a vampire in London.

Blade: Trinity recap
Vampires led by Danica Talos raise Dracula, called Drake, from a tomb in the Syrian Desert, and frame Blade for killing a human. The FBI raids Blade's hideout, Whistler dies, and Blade is arrested. Hannibal King and Abigail Whistler, Abraham's daughter, break him out and bring him to their band of hunters, the Nightstalkers. Their scientist Sommerfield is making Daystar, a virus that kills vampires, and it needs Drake's pure blood to work. Blade finds a vampire blood farm of brain-dead humans and shuts it down, then returns to find the Nightstalkers killed and King and Sommerfield's daughter Zoe taken.
How Blade: Trinity ends
Blade and Abigail rescue King and Zoe, and Abigail kills Asher Talos. Drake beats Blade, but Blade stabs him with the Daystar arrow, releasing the virus and killing Danica and every vampire nearby. Dying, Drake praises Blade and takes Blade's shape, so the FBI believes Blade is dead. The body on the morgue table turns back into Drake.
