Doctor Who: Series 3 recap
Medical student Martha Jones meets the Doctor when her hospital is transported to the Moon by the Judoon, and he takes her on one trip, then another. They visit Shakespeare's London, a gridlocked motorway in New New York, Depression-era Manhattan with the Daleks and a future starship. To hide from aliens, the Doctor turns himself human as schoolteacher John Smith in 1913, and Martha protects him. In Blink, he is trapped in 1969 by the Weeping Angels and helps a young woman named Sally Sparrow through messages hidden on DVDs. Martha loves the Doctor, who still misses Rose. Captain Jack returns at the end of the universe, where a kindly professor turns out to be the Master.
