Aladdin recap

In the desert city of Agrabah, the vizier Jafar needs a "diamond in the rough" to enter the Cave of Wonders and fetch a magic lamp. Aladdin, a street thief with a monkey, Abu, meets Princess Jasmine, who has slipped out of the palace to escape an arranged marriage. Jafar has Aladdin arrested and sends him into the cave in disguise. Abu grabs forbidden treasure, the cave collapses, and Aladdin is trapped, but he has the lamp, and he releases its Genie, who grants him three wishes. Aladdin promises to use his last wish to free the Genie. He wishes to become a prince to win Jasmine and arrives in a grand parade as Prince Ali. He takes her on a magic carpet ride, and she sees through his disguise, though he lies again. Jafar tries to have him drowned, and the Genie uses a wish to save him.

Aladdin ending explained

Aladdin tricks Jafar into wishing to become a genie, which traps him in a lamp, and then frees the Genie with his last wish. Jafar steals the lamp, becomes sultan and sorcerer, and exposes Aladdin. Aladdin goads him into his final wish, and Jafar is sucked into a lamp with his parrot Iago. Aladdin keeps his promise, the freed Genie leaves to see the world, and the Sultan changes the law so Jasmine can marry Aladdin.
