The story
When 10-year-old Ben Tennyson discovers a mysterious device, he gains the power to change into ten different alien heroes, each with uniquely awesome powers. With such abilities at his disposal, Ben realizes a greater responsibility to help others and stop evildoers, but that doesn't mean he's above a little superpowered mischief now and then.
Ben 10 recap
Ben Tennyson, ten, sets off on a summer road trip across America with his grandfather Max and his cousin Gwen in an RV, the Rust Bucket. On the first night, Ben finds the Omnitrix, a watch-like alien device that crashed to Earth, and it locks onto his wrist. It lets him turn into ten alien heroes, among them Heatblast, Four Arms, XLR8, Diamondhead and Grey Matter, though it times out at awkward moments. He uses it to fight Vilgax, an alien warlord who wants the Omnitrix, along with villains such as Kevin 11, Dr. Animo and the Forever Knights. Over four seasons, from 2005 to 2008, Max is revealed to be a retired member of the Plumbers, a secret organisation dealing with aliens; Gwen develops magic powers; and Ben glimpses his adult future self, Ben 10,000. The TV movie Secret of the Omnitrix (2007) unlocks more of the device.
Ben 10 ending explained
The last canonical episode, "Ben 10 vs. the Negative 10" (2008), has Ben, Gwen, Max and a young Plumber's grandson defend the Plumbers' base at Mount Rushmore against a team of old villains led by the Forever King, and Ben destroys the energy source they steal. The story continues in Ben 10: Alien Force (2008), five years later, with a teenage Ben, Gwen and a reformed Kevin searching for the missing Max.
